
Unified Talent Group is exclusive in an exciting search for a Regional Sales Manager – Remote for a leading manufacturing company successfully in business for the past 100+ years! As a key member of the sales team, you’ll play a strategic role in expanding market presence and strengthening customer relationships across a large and dynamic territory. You’ll combine technical expertise, relationship-building, and business acumen to drive growth and deliver value. This role is fully remote, and candidates living in the southwestern US are preferred.
Sales & Business Development
- Proactively identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities while growing and retaining existing accounts
- Influence owner specifications to position products as the preferred solution
- Build strong, long-term relationships with engineers, and key decision-makers
- Deliver compelling product presentations (in-person and virtual) to large audiences
- Lead negotiations, close deals, and maximize profitability within your territory
Customer Engagement & Support
- Serve as a trusted advisor to customers, clearly communicating product value and technical capabilities
- Demonstrate products and recommend best-fit applications
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery and exceptional customer experience
- Investigate and resolve warranty claims with sound judgment and professionalism
- Coordinate jobsite activities and maintain strong relationships with clients, inspectors, and stakeholders
Strategic Planning & Execution
- Develop and execute territory plans aligned with revenue and growth targets
- Set and present territory budgets, tracking performance against goals
- Analyze sales trends, forecasts, and market data to inform strategy
- Monitor and implement pricing strategies to remain competitive and maximize margins
- Support pre-bid and post-bid activities to strengthen future positioning
Technical & Industry Expertise
- Interpret contract documents and shop drawings with confidence
- Partner with engineering teams to deliver tailored technical solutions
- Identify and evaluate new product opportunities to expand portfolio
Operations & Travel
- Manage CRM systems, reporting, and administrative responsibilities (expenses, forecasts, etc.)
- Utilize tools such as Microsoft Office, Oracle, and CRM platforms effectively
- Travel strategically and cost-effectively across your assigned territory
What You Bring
We’re looking for a driven, strategic sales professional who thrives in a technical, relationship-focused environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field
- 8+ years of proven success in sales, preferably in a technical industry
- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
- Ability to interpret technical documents and drawings
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and ERP tools
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage a large territory
