Regional Sales Manager - Midwest

A leading industrial manufacturing organization is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to drive growth and expand market presence across the Midwest territory. This role is responsible for developing sales strategies, managing channel partners, and delivering technical solutions within the municipal and pressure sewer markets.

In this role, you will collaborate with distributors, customers, and internal teams to strengthen relationships, support product adoption, and grow market share. This position requires a strategic and disciplined sales approach, strong technical aptitude, and the ability to translate customer needs into effective, value-driven solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth across the assigned territory
  • Manage and strengthen relationships with distributor partners to increase market effectiveness
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market analysis, networking, and outreach
  • Support distributors through joint sales calls, product training, and marketing initiatives
  • Maintain accurate sales activity, pipeline tracking, and forecasting within CRM systems
  • Understand customer requirements and deliver tailored technical solutions
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve customer issues and ensure a high level of service
  • Deliver professional presentations highlighting product capabilities and application value

  • Strong relationship management and channel sales experience

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Engineering, or a related field preferred
  • 2–3+ years of experience in sales, preferably within engineered or technical products
  • Experience working with distributors or channel partners preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to drive sales growth and manage customer relationships
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory (up to 60–75%)
