
Unified Talent Group is partnered with a well-known and respected manufacturer near Wichita, KS, in search of an experienced Human Resources Manager to oversee day-to-day HR operations and support employees and leadership across the organization.
The ideal candidate has broad experience in employee relations, recruiting, compensation, benefits, training, compliance, and policy administration.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and administer human resources policies, procedures, programs, and department objectives
- Lead HR department activities and evaluate results against established organizational goals
- Manage compensation programs, salary reviews, performance evaluations, and job description updates
- Administer employee benefits and assist with claims resolution, enrollment changes, and invoice approvals
- Maintain employee records, reports, and documentation in compliance with applicable employment regulations
- Oversee recruiting for exempt, nonexempt, and temporary positions
- Partner with hiring managers to create job postings, screen candidates, conduct interviews, check references, and extend offers
- Coordinate new-hire orientation, career development initiatives, employee counseling, and exit interviews
- Ensure applicant tracking and hiring processes comply with OFCCP and equal employment opportunity requirements
- Train managers and recruiters on interviewing, hiring, accommodation, and employment compliance obligations
- Recommend improvements to HR policies, procedures, systems, and departmental efficiency
- Participate in leadership and staff meetings as required
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline
- Minimum of five years of professional human resources experience
- Strong knowledge of employee relations, recruiting, compensation, benefits, training, and employment compliance
- Thorough understanding of Kansas employment and labor practices
- Experience using OFCCP-compliant applicant tracking systems
- Strong communication, organization, analytical, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and human resources information systems
